"Ménara Echecs Club" and Callson, in the same time as the first anniversary of the club, sign an agreement on the organization of the 1st International Chess Tournament Marrakech.
Tournament schedule is finalized as well as prizes. Maximum of 150 players will get a confirmation by email. A simultaneous play for women is also scheduled on July 2, 2010. |

Players first !
This competition is free to anyone. Each player can send an email to inscription-maroc@callson.fr if resident in Morocco, or if he resides outside inscription-international@callson.fr. Any confirmation will be sent by Email.
To the extent that it is an international tournament, we will respect quotas of origin, level, sex and age up to 150 players.
This is also an opportunity to meet all moroccan chess actors.

The organizing committee has also provided:
- A whole media coverage of the event (see Medias).
- 35 volontiers from Callson company responsible for the reception and accompaniment of the players.
- 100 rooms negotiated under 30 euros per day in 4 * hotels.
- 30 GM/MI and VIP guests in 5* hotels.
- A 1200 square meters hall for the competition (5* hotel) .
- Possible strolls through Marrakech and good opportunities suggestions.
- Two musical evenings at the beginning and end of competition (traditional music).
- Discussions and forums around the development of Chess and lives of professional players.
- Some initiatives and unusual surprises ..
You can always find better solutions in accommodation, Marrakesh offers a huge number of places more or less quality. However, we suggest booking in advance.
